La Carta Tecnica Regionale in effetti è impiantata alla scala dell'1:10.000, é … un po' tecnica, ma molto dettagliata (è quella esposta e colorata nel corridoio a piano terra del Rifugio Laghi Gemelli).

> DATA FORMAT The images are recorded in TIFF format; each section of the CTR is identified by its reference name followed by the extension. TIF. The size of the image, 50 by 80 cm, and the resolution adopted (300 dpi) mean each digital image is made up of about 66 million pixels. A 400 dpi version is available on request for specific requirements. The CD-ROM contains display software as well as the coordinates file for geographic referencing of the maps.

Digital raster format
The Region’s territory is contained on 4 CD-ROMs:
1. Provinces of Sondrio, Lecco, Como, Varese;
2. Provinces of Brescia, Mantova;
3. Provinces of Bergamo, Cremona, Lodi;
4. Provinces of Milan, Pavia.
The CD-ROMs are distributed to users upon presentation of a written request specifying the intended use of the maps, and addressed to Struttura Sistema Informativo Territoriale, Direzione Generale Territoriale e Urbanistica, (Territorial Information System Office - Regional and Urban Planning Department), Regione Lombardia Via Sassetti 32/2 - 20124 Milano. The data may also be viewed on the Regione Lombardia’s website: ww.cartografia.regione.lombardia.it, from which a download of the raster component may be made.
