Hi,

nice to hear from you.

emmicadeau ha scritto:My trek, with my light backpack, my strange way of passing waterstream (yes, I can read a little italian a_6 )

I'd better be careful...!

emmicadeau ha scritto:was just completely... awesome, fantastic, gorgeous, wonderful, etc, etc, etc...

Ok, it seems you did appreciate the trek...

Coming to the posting of the pictures, I find that http://www.photobucket.com is more user-friendly than imageshack when yo uhave to upload more than one picture - but it's only a personal preference.
The steps to follow are very similar to those Skiador posted above: you register with the service, create a new album, and upload the pictures (800x600).
When you're done, you pass the mouse over the picture you want to insert in the post, and a drop-down window appears, with four different link codes. You just select and copy the last one ("Img code"), and you insert it in the message you're writing in the forum.
To be sure it works properly, press the button "Anteprima" (preview) before posting, and you should be able to see the picture.

So, we're now waiting for your photos...

Bye,

Paolo

and finally, just on time for the polenta, rifugio calvi.

It was so nice when I arrived, and the cooker told me "hey, emmi, we were waiting for you!"...
after 6 hours walking, with almost no stops, it was my best eveningmeal, and best evening too, I met a canadian girl who live in Brussel like me (will see her again tonight!), who was trekking with italian friends.
great atmosphere in the rifugio, I was very tired so I went early to bed...

Day 3
Immagine
After a great night (room alone, what a luxury) in the refugio calvi (ok I was wrong with the name of the first rifugio, it was longo...)
On my way to refugio gemelli...
First I walk 1h30 in the wrong way... to lago cabianca and di curiosi...
Then I find my way to passo di portula. It was a difficult part, specially alone (it tooks me 2 hours in place of 1, because I was so carrefull...)

I arrived to baite cernello, then I took the path via passo d'aviasco

Day 4 - I did the "giro dei lagi", and stay the afternoon on the side of one of the lake, sleep, read, swim a bit...
with this nice vew...

Immagine

after that, my camera was batteryless... no more pictures, but the path to carona was great (I took the longest one, can't remember the n°), even if going down for so long time is not nice for the knees...

I wait a bit for the bus, but no bus... so I hitch-hike !
spend some hours in bergamo, then took my plane, back to real life!!

Again, thank you to the new tourist informator (the mentionned paolo di carona)...
I will certainly come back to this region, beautiful, easy to reach, italian, and with no croud of people!!
