...in the second valley of your tour: Valle Sambuzza. The trail climbs a few meters, then turns to the right, finally it bends to the left. You will descend on the left side of the valley, cross the stream on a small wooden bridge, and proceed on the other side.

Turn left and descend (mind the goats, if they're still there! :-) )

Go along the cowshed, turn left, still on trail 208 (as the sign shows) - at this point it enters the woods

You are now heading to Rifugio Longo, which is at the end of the new valley you just entered.

This is Rifugio Baitone (a private hut) - the water at the red fountain is very refreshing...

Finally you will reach the road that, in half an hour, will take you to Rifugio Longo (2026 m). Enjoy your dinner, the food is excellent!

[Day 2 - from Rifugio Longo to Rifugio Calvi]

Climb to the the lake 5 minutes above Rifugio Longo (Lago del Diavolo), cross the dam, and follow the trail which will take, high left over you, to Passo Selletta (2372 m)

In the distance you can already see Rifugio Calvi, just above the small lake (Lago Rotondo). It will take a while, though, to reach it.
The trail takes you first to the long cowshed just below you. There it turns to the left, and points you towards Pizzo del Diavolo (the highest mountain in Val Brembana, the source of river Brembo - 2914 m).
