Valtorta - Piani di Bobbio Ski Area


The ski station of Valtorta is the newest in Brembana Valley.
The connection with Piani di Bobbio makes this ski station one of the up modern ski Station in Lombardy.

The Ski Station is composed most by intermediate slopes (red), however is pretty good indicated for novices and the experts can enjoy at the slopes called “Cedrino”, “Nube Bianca” and “Tre Signori”, which are usually the richest of snow and they hold out with snow across the months.

The Ski Arear is placed at the center of a cirlce, composed by beautiful mountains leaded by Pizzo dei Tre Signori.

how to reach the Ski Station of Valtorta From Bergamo (52 km) follow the Val Brembana road untill you the village of Olmo al Brembo, after then follow a provincial road (first fork at the left) heading Valle Stabina till Valtorta Piani di Bobbio. Once you got the town there are still 4 km driving heading Piani di Bobbio.

Ski Season 2007/2008 New Chairlift "Camosci"

For the next ski-season a new four-seater chairlift’ ll start to work on the ski station of Valtorta – Piani di Bobbio.

The new chairlift will be realized from Doppelmayr, and will replace the skilift on “Valle dei Camosci”, serving the Alpine Hut “Lecco”.

Talking about chairlifts...have you ever noticed the sign placed upon the "Fortino" chairlift?
It says "Last rum h.16.45". What do you think it means?
A) You get a free glass of rum every time you get that chairlift, but just until 4.45 p.m.
B) You can't drink alchool after 4.45 p.m., otherwise you get fined.
C) It's meant to be "last run" but nobody knew the right spelling (it's incredible!).

I've tried to take a photo, but couldn't get my mobilephone out of the pocket soon enough. Sorry! Anyway, it has made me laugh all the way up.
